Calm and Clear retreat with Ruchika and Maithilee
at Hakone Gardens On Sunday, December 9th

Reboot your mind for creativity and innovation

Living in Silicon Valley is an adventure. We are living and breathing in cutting-edge innovation and leading intellectually demanding, and emotionally draining lifestyles.  We still get it all done, from fixing that hard to reproduce bug to unveiling that revolutionary technology to the world. After the high-pressure work assignments which has implications on millions if not billions of lives on this planet, we rush back home to be with the chosen few that matter most to us. In between work, after hours teleconferences, driving kids around, fixing bugs and fixing meals; we get so wound up that we start losing our creative and innovative edge. But can we afford that?  Valley requires you to be on top of your game. Being highly creative and innovative is the minimal viable requirement!

To survive and thrive in this environment, a periodic reboot of our minds is needed so that we come back to that calm yet sharply creative spirit. That state of mind is what powers innovation. Tech giants in the valley know how vital this is. It is no secret that mindfulness workshops, meditation retreats and such are becoming an integral part of corporate life in Silicon Valley.  Many influential figures have paved the way for other techies through their practice of mindfulness, meditation, and interest in philosophical contemplation.

The valley has unique needs around mindfulness. We crave more than traditional meditation practice. We need it to be meaningful, sensible and complementary to our highly active analytical minds. We want to get all the psychological, emotional and spiritual benefits of mindfulness practice without compromising on our analytical edge. We don't want to pacify our minds by following practices we do not fully understand or agree with, we want to embrace the practice with the framework of intellectual clarity around it. When calm and clarity comes together, that clicks for us and that is what recharges our creativity and innovation.

That is precisely what Ruchika and Maithilee are bringing forth : Mindfulness practices along with structured and deep contemplation to bring you both calm and clarity. This experience is for people who want to retain peak levels of intellectual performance. Therefore we designed it to sharpen your mind. Come and experience the favorite calming practices of high paced innovative workplaces and get a clear understanding of workings of your mind so that you can debug it at runtime! Let this be your secret power.

Ruchika Sikri, Head of Well-being learning at Google, will calm your mind and Maithilee Samant, Techie, Life Coach and founder of MirrorMyMind, will create clarity. Learn vital life skills of managing your mind in a way that will enhance your mental performance, network with like-minded people over a hearty meal and enjoy the serenity and beauty of Hakone gardens. Leave feeling calm, clear and fully recharged to take on the world. Regain your zest, creative edge and be a source of inspiration to those around you.

You totally deserve this mind reboot and it will be worthwhile.
